“Shaheed”(1948) was directed by Ramesh Saigal for Filmistan. The movie had Chandramohan, Dilip Kumar, Kamini Kaushal, Ram singh, S L Puri, V. H. Desai, Shashi Kapoor, Raj adeeb, Prabhu Dayal etc in it.
Three songs from the movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from “Shaheed”(1948) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Surinder Kaur. Nakshab is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ghulam Haider.
The song is picturised as a radio song. This “missing the beloved” song is playing on a radio with Kamini Kaushal leaning against the radio. For the information of youngsters- that device looking like a microwave oven is a radio. 🙂
