“Dil”(1946) was directed by S F Hasnain for Fazlli brothers, Bombay.. The movie had Noorjahaan, Abdul Latif, Baby Zubaida, Amina, A M Khan, Kamal, Geeta Bose, Ghory, Bhudo Advani, Anwari, Razi, Anees etc in it. etc in it.
This movie had ten songs in it. As many as nine of these songs have been covered in the blog.
Here is the tenth and final song from “Dil”(1946) to appear in the blog. HFGK mentions this song as sung by Anees Khatoon. On listening to the song one detects a female voice (this must be Anees Khatoon) and a child voice as well. The identity of this child voice is not known.
Shams Lucknowi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Zafar Khursheed.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
With this rare song, which was missing from YT till now, “Dil”(1946) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.

Congratulations Atul ji on covering all songs of “Dil – 1946” and its joining to the “list of movies – all songs covered”.
To have such rare gems on the blog is really a great achievement..

My parents had seen this film in 1946 and said that one of the songs was picturised showing Noorjehan in a train and the rail tracks were shaped as a heart (Dil). Probably the song was “Ai hawa jaa jaa” or “Chalo gadi “
