“Kaadambari”(1975) was directed by H K Verma for Madhu Creation Pictures Bombay. The movie had Shabana Azmi, Vijay arora, Arpana Cahudhary, Jeet Surendra, Ajeet singh, Mona, Jugnu, Chand Usmani, V Gopal etc in it.

This “Social” movie had two songs in it. One song has been discussed in the blog long ago.

Here is the second and final song from “Kaadambari”(1975) to appear in the blog. This song is sung and composed by by Ajeet Singh. Geetanhjali Singh is the lyricist.

The song is picturised as a club song. Seeing that the name of Ajeet Singh figures in the cast, it is my guess that the song is picturised on himself.

With this song, “Kaadambari”(1975) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.

Song-Kyun ham tum rahen akele (Kaadambari)(1975) Singer-Ajeet Singh, Lyrics-Geetanjali Singh, MD-Ajeet Singh

Lyrics

kyun hum tum
rahen akele
kyun na baahon mein baahen le len
dekho o
zindagi ke mele
ye shaam hai suhaani
ye jawaani hai deewaani
chalo
bekhudi se khelen
dil mera ga raha hai
nasha aur chadhh raha hai
ye dil yoon machal raha hai
shama ban ke jal raha hai
lalalaalalala
lallallalaalala
lalalalaalalaaa
everybody
lalalaalalala
lalalalaalala
lalalalaalala

?? ki zindagani
do pal ki hai jawaani
suno
chalo kahin akele
kyun na apni ??
aankhon se aankhen milaao
palkon se nazaakat chhalke
jaane jaana aa rahi hai
masti aur chhaa rahi hai
tum ek baar muskura do
mere sang gungunaa do o
lalalaalalala
lallalalaalala
lalalalaalalalaa
everybody
clap with me now
yeah

ok
I want everybody to sing along with me
ok
one two three four
lalalaalalala
lalalalaalala
lalalalaalala
yeahaa
lalalaalalala
lalalalaalala
lalalalaalala

Congratulations Atul ji – Prakash ji on covering all songs of “Kaadambari-1975” and its joining to the “list of movies-all songs covered”:)

The actor sitting with Arpana Choudhary is Jeet, son of living legend singer of 40s, late Surendranathji. Jeet had done acting course in FTII of Pune, but could not succeed in films. His younger brother, Kailash is a successful ad-maker, became famous with his ads of ‘Only Vimal’ about 35 years ago. He is still busy with his work!!

Thank you Nayan ji for this information, Kailash surendra nath is actress Aarti Gupta`s husband na ? Am I right ??

Yes, & Jeet/Kailash’s sister Sunita, is having a long happy married life with actor Mahendra Sandhu!

Thanks again Nayan ji for updating me, Thank you very much

Regards
Prakash

Aarti Gupta used to swim at the famous Juhu Hotel everyday. To get noticed by her, Salman Khan started swimming there. of course he got noticed by her. She took him to her husband, Kailash, who gave Salman his first break in a commercial. Rest is history.
