“Intezar” (1973) was produced by Mohan Sehgal and direced by Mohan Singh Kavia for De Luxe Films, Bombay. The movie had Rinku Jaiswal, Baldev Khosa, Padmini Kapila, Vishal, I S Johar, Mohan Choti, Lata Arora, Chandrima Bhaduri, Manhar Desai, Bhushan Tiwari, Kamlakar Date, Bhanumati, Kamal deep, Leela Mishra, Rakesh Pandey (special appearance), Master Rafiq, Baby Reshma, Baby Mumtaz, Narmada Shankar, Radheshyam etc in it.
The movie had five songs in it. Three of these songs have been covered in the past. Here is the fourth song from “Intezar” (1973) to appear in the blog.
The song is sung by Lata. Verma Malik is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
The song is picturised as a Krishn bhajan on Rinku Jaiswal. The picturisation also shows shady looking I S Johar and others. I S Johar is apparently playing a dhongi baba in the picturisation. I have not seen the movie so I am not sure what is going on in the picturisation. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.

The lady wearing white saree who is lip syncing for the song is PADMINI KAPILA, and it is not Rinku Jaiswal
