“Hangaama”(1952) was produced and directed by Ram Kamlani for Gope Productions, Bombay. The movie had Nutan, Nasir Khan, K N Singh, David, Cuckkoo, Gope, Yakoob etc with Raj Mehra is guest appearance.

The movie had nine songs in it. Three of these songs have been covered in the past.

Here is the third song from “Hangaama”(1952) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by C Ramchandra.

Only the audio of this song is available. Lata was the main female singer in this movie. So it seems certain that the song was picturised on the leading lady, viz Nutan in this case. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this pathos filled song.

Song-Dard ke maare huye (Hangaama)(1952) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Rajinder Krishan, MD-C Ramchandra

Lyrics

dard ke maare huye
aur pyaar ke loote huye
kaun si duniya mein jaayenge
ye dil toote huye ae
dard ke maare huye

chaar din ki is judaai mein
samajh baithha hai dil il
samajh baithha hai dil
ik zamaana ho gaya
ik zamaana ho gaya
tumse hamen chhoote huye
dard ke maare huye
aur pyaar ke loote huye
kaun si duniya mein jaayenge
ye dil toote huye
dard ke maare huye

kuchh suhaane khwaab dekhe
thhe mohabbat ne kabhi
o o o o o
kuchh suhaane khwaab dekhe thhe
mohabbat ne kabhi ee
mohabbat ne kabhi
haaye ri kismat wo saare
haaye ri kismat wo saare
khwaab ab jhoothhe huye
dard ke maare huye
aur pyaar ke loote huye
kaun si duniya mein jaayenge
ye dil toote huye ae
dard ke mare huye
