Ten years later, two of the five movies are YIPPEED whereas three movies are still eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (24 November 2020).
One movie, viz “Subah Ka Taara”(1954) was taken up in this challenge earlier today.
“Sanskaar”(1952), another movie eligible for BTYC today, was produced and directed by V M Vyas. The movie had Mumtaz Shanti, Purnima, Veera, Pran, Razi, Shashi Kapoor (Sr), Ihswar Lal, Mirza Musharraf, Murad, Kalyani, Pappu, Baby Naaz, Indira Mumtaz etc in it.
The movie had seven songs in it. Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. The list of songs of the movie, in the sequence given in HFGK, is as follows:-

Muhabbat ke jhoothhe sahaaron ne loota | 24.11.2010 |
“Sanskaar”(1952) had made its debut in the blog ten years ago on this date. Today, here is another song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
Only the audio of the song is available. Lyrics leaves no doubt in the mind that it is a lullaby song. This lullaby for some reasons has been forgotten. It certainly sounds like it belongs to the category of memorable lullabies created in Hindi movies.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the puicturisation of this song.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Avinash Scrapwala.

Lyrics(Provided by Avinash Scrapwala)
hanse tim tim tim chhote chhote taare
kahe chandaa bhi aaja aaja aa re ae
tera naam le pukaare
tujhe neend ki pari ee
so jaa
so jaa re ae mere pyaare ae
so jaa
so jaa re ae mere pyaare ae
bagiyaa mein soye jaise
gendaa gulaab
soyegaa laal meri godi mein
saagar mein seenp jaise
mandir mein deep
mera gopal meri godi mein
saagar ke paar
miley saagar ke paar
din dooba
doob gaye din ke rang
so jaa
so jaa re mere pyaare ae
so jaa
so jaa re mere pyaare ae
hanse tim tim tim chhote chhote taare
kahe chandaa bhi aaja aaja aa re ae
tera naam le pukaare
tujhe neend ki pari ee
so jaa
so jaa re ae mere pyaare ae
so jaa
so jaa re ae mere pyaare ae
sapnon ki nagri mein
tere hi geet
gaati hai taaron ki raani
kaliyon pe shabnam ke moti bikher
kahti hai taaron ki raani
bansi ki taan
soye gokul ke shyam
rakhwaale raam rahen tere sang
so jaa so jaa re ae mere pyaare re
so jaa
so jaa re ae mere pyaare ae
hanse tim tim tim chhote chhote taare
kahe chandaa bhi aaja aaja aa re ae
tera naam le pukaare
tujhe neend ki pari ee
so jaa
so jaa re ae mere pyaare ae

Hello I know that you are doing a great job with integrity and zeal.I think ð a non film song I kept listening in my teens and youth which was played on the AIR/aakashvaani/vividh bharati sung by Radha Saluja (mostly) â..ye kis rut me tum aae hamaare aangan me, jab/sab ful gae kumhalae hamaare aangan me..â!!Can you please confirm and see what you can do with this information (if it may interest you) Lastly it was played on 18 Jan 1981 @the archive available on google. The screen shot of which I attach here if it can be of any help (or not)Hope you find it for all of us ðð½Thanks Atul Dave ArchitectÂ

Thanks Atul ji for this beautiful post. Yes this lullaby should be definitely included in the list of ‘all time greatest lullabies from Hindi films’.
Kindly also correct as ‘FIVE songs from this movie have been discussed in the past’ (in paragraph 5)
Thanks again,
