This date ten years ago (viz 19 July 2012) saw five songs from five different movies getting covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We can see that four movies (out of five) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago have since been YIPPEED.
The only movie from ten years ago that remains unYIPPEED is “Lekh”(1949).
“Lekh”(1949) was produced by Mehta and Raghupat Roy and directed by G Rakesh for Liberty Art Productions, Bombay. The movie had Suraiyya, Sitara aka Sitaara Devi, Motilal, Eeshu Jagirdar, Cuckkoo, Anand Pal, Suraiyya chaudhary, Sudheer, Gurdasram,Chamanpuri, Amena Bai, Rekha, Sarita Veer, Kanwal, Vaatsa,Pittooo, Aatma Prakash etc in it.
The movie had 15 songs in it. Ten songs have been covered so far.
Here is the eleventh song from “Lekh”(1949) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Rafi. Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Krish Dayal.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
