Ten years back on this date viz on 3rd October 2012, six songs from six different movies were covered on the blog. Here are the details:-

It can be noticed that three movies (out of six) whose songs were covered on the blog on this date ten years ago (3 October 2012) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with three movies that are still eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (3 October 2022).
“Satta Baazaar”(1959) is one such movie.
“Satta Baazaar”(1959) was produced and directed by Ravindra Dave for Nagina Films, Bombay. The movie had eight songs in it. six songs have been covered so far.
Here is the seventh song from “Satta Baazaar”(1959) to appear in the blog. HFGK is silent about the identity of the singer. The song is clearly sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.
The song is picturised as a mujra dance song on Jeevankala. Narbada Shankar and Ramayan Tiwari (known as Tiwari) are also visible in the picturisation.
Lyrics of the song and other details were sent to me by Prakashchandra. He informs us that the eight and final song “Yeh duniya rang badalti hai samay ki chakki chalti hai” does not seem to be available online. I request our knowledgeable readers to help locate this song, if possible.
