Blog 10-Year Challenge (2012-2022) – Song No. 105

Ten years back on this date viz on 4th October 2012, six songs from six different movies were covered on the blog. Here are the details:-

One can see that five movies (out of six) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (4 october 2012). That leaves us with just one movie which is eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (4 october 2022).
The movie eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge is “Lakeeren”(1954). The movie was produced and directed by Harbans for Susheel Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Nalini Jaywant, Ashok Kumar, Sulochana Chatterjee, Kamal, Pran, Tiwari, Durga Khote,Amir Banoo etc in it.
“Lakeeren”(1954) had 11 songs in it. Six of these songs have been covered so far.
Here is the seventh song from “Lakeeren”(1954) to appear in the blog. HFGK mentions this song as sung by Geeta Dutt and anya swar (another voice). This male voice that sings the first few lines is clearly G M Durrani’s voice.
Shewan Rizvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hafeez Khan.
