Blog 10-Year Challenge (2013-2023) – Song No. 1

After a fruitful Blog Ten Year Challenge in 2022 that saw as many as 141 songs getting covered under blog Ten Year Challenge (2012-2022), we now enter into the new challenge viz Blog Ten Year Challenge 2013-2023. This is the first ilstalment of this new challenge.
On this date ten years back viz on 3 January 2013, four songs from four movies were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We can observe that two movies (out of four) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with two movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year challenge today on 3 January 2023.
“Nai Maa”(1946)is one eligible movie. It was directed by K.J.Parmar for Prakash Pictures. The movie had Jeevan, Ranjana, Rajkumari Shukla, Baby Madhuri, Rajkumar, N.Kabeer etc in it.
“Nai Maa”(1946) had eight songs in it. Two songs have been covered.
Here is the third song from the movie to appear in the blog. HFGK is silent about the singer and the uploader mentions the singer as Chhaaya. Listening to the song it is clear that the singer is Parul Ghosh. The earlier two songs from the movie that have been covered in the blog had her voice in them as well. So it is Parul Ghosh wihout a doubt. Chaaya could be the name of the character who lip syncs the song on screen, which is how “Singers” of songs were “identified” on movie records that were issued those days.
Ramesh Gupta is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hanuman Prasad.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
