“Zamaana Badal Gaya-1961” was directed by Jayant Desai for ‘Hemlata Pictures’. This was a ‘social’ movie as mentioned in Geet Kosh.
This movie had Chand Usmani, Charlie, Iftekhar, Bhagwan, Helen, Naina, Leela Mishra, G.M. Durrani, Madhu, Anand Joshi, R.S. Dubey, Sukumar, Munshi Sagar Hussain, Narbada Shankar, Junas Yusuf, Ramesh Kumar Verma, Nazeer Khan Channu Khan, Gajendra Singh, Agha, and S. Zaheer Hussain, Kishanlal Sharma, T.N. Sinha and others.
“Zamaana Badal Gaya-1961” has nine songs composed by Iqbal Qureshi. The lyrics for these nine songs were shared by two lyricists where Aziz Qaisi wrote eight songs and H.A. Rahbar wrote one song for this movie.
“Zamaana Badal Gaya-1961” made its debut on the blog on 11.12.2015 when our Respected Shri Sudhir ji introduced this movie which was missing from the blog till then. The first song posted for this movie was ‘socho ji socho ji zamaana kya kehta hai’. The second song from this movie was added after a month’s gap on 21.01.2016 and the song this time was ‘ek ek ek, ek chai ki pyaali’.
However, no songs from this movie have been posted on the blog ever since.
Today we add the third song to this movie’s tally on the blog.
I guess that the songs of this movie were not easily available on internet seven or eight years back. But now one can notice that almost all its’ songs are available.
I listened to a few songs of this movie and chose this beautiful song in the voice of Asha Bhonsle.
