On this date ten years ago (24 April 2013), seven songs from seven different movies were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We observe that one movie (out of seven movies) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (viz on 24 April 2013) has since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with six unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (24 April 2023).
“Pagli”(1943) is one of the six BTYC eligible movies today.
“Pagli”(1943) was directed by Shankar Mehta for Maheshwari Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Padam, Asha,Kapoor, Aruna, Raza, Anjana, Ramesh, Nafees, Bhag Singh, Hamida, Charlie, Mohini, Billoo, Deveshwar,Anand,Raj Monga, Kavita etc in it.
“Pagli”(1943) had ten songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Shamshad Begam. The movie had two lyrist and four music directors, but neither the lyricist nor the music director is known. That is a pity because the lyrics as well as the music is wonderful to listen to. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the lyricist and music director and also on the picturisation of thi8s song.
