On this date ten years ago (25 April 2013), six songs from six different movies (plus one non film song) were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We observe that one movie (out of six) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (on 25 April 2013) has since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with five movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (25 April 2023).

“Bijli”(1950) is one of the BTYC eligible movies today.

“Bijli”(1950) was produced by Kishore Sahu and directed by Sushil Sahu for Hindustan Chitra, Bombay. This movie had Rehana, Ramesh Gupta, Sitara, Vilas mohbe, Paaro, Badri Prasad, Sushil Sahu, Amir Karnataki, Satya Narayan,Narbada Shankar, C.L.Shah, Kaantha, Kaazmi etc in it.

The movie had eight songs in it. Five songs have been covered in the blog.

Here is the sixth song from “Bijli”(1950) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Shamshad Begam and chorus. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khemchand Prakash.

Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
