We observe that three movies (out of eight) whose songs were covered in the blog on this date ten years ago (on 20 May 2013) have since been YIPPEED. That laeves us with five unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (20 may 2023).
“Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” (1988) is one of the five BTYC eligible movies today (20 May 2023).
“Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” (1988) was produced by Nasir Hussain and directed by Mansoor Hussain Khan for Nasir Hussain Films, Bombay. The movie introduced Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. The movie also had Ravinder Kapoor, Goga Kapoor, Dalip Tahhil, Aloknath, Asha Sharma, Reema Lagoo, Beena,
Nandita Thakur, Zutshi, Charushila Sable, Viju Khote, Arjun(Aka Feroz Khan), Yunus Parvez, Arun Mathur, Shehnaaz Kudia etc. They were supported by Shehzaad Khan, Makaran aka Makrand Deshpande, Yatin Karyekar, BrijGopal, Seema Vaz, Ahmed Khan, Babban Lal Yadav, Shiva, Usha, Faisal Khan, Yusuf, Noora, Shekhar, Kirpal, Mukesh, Afzal,Imran Khan, Chhaya, Isabelle,Sharone etc. Ajit Vachchani was in guest appearance.
“Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” (1988) had six songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from the movie. It is a short song that is easy to miss. Personally I was not even aware that there was this song in this movie. What is more, I have even forgotten whether I had watched this movie or not. 🙂
This song is sung by Alka Yagnik. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anand Milind. The song is picturised on Juhi Chawla and Aamir Khan.
