We observe that three movies (out of eight) whose songs were covered in the blog on this date ten years ago (on 20 May 2013) have since been YIPPEED. That laeves us with five unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (20 may 2023).
“Main Shaadi Karne Chala”(1962) is one of BTYC eligible movies today.
“Main Shaadi Karne Chala”(1962) was produced by J B H Wadia and directed by Roop K Shorey for Wadia Movietone, Bombay. This movie had I.S.Johar,Sayeeda Khan,Rajendra nath,Feroze Khan, Praveen Choudhary, Tabassum, Malika, Mumtaz, Badri Prasad, Durga Khotey, Manju,Prem Chopra, Vivek etc in it.
The movie had nine songs in it. Six songs have been covered in the blog by now.
Here is the seventh song from the movie. This song is sung by Rafi. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
From the lyrics, we can see that this song is the title song of the movie. Only audio of the song is avilable. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
