Kamsune/Unsune songs of Asha Bhosle – 86
I’m going to present two back to back songs by Asha Bhosle in the rare/rarely heard series. Both songs are from a C grade film “Man Tera Tan Mera” (1971). Both the songs are written by Naqsh Lyallpuri and composed by Sapan Jagmohan.
“Man Tera Tan Mera”(1971) was produced by I M Kunnu and directed by B R Ishara for Nitin Films. The movie had Anil Dhawan, Rehana Sultan, Shatrughna Sinha, Manmohan Krishna, Asit Sen, Dulari, Johny Whisky, etc. the movie introduces Rashmi.
Directed by B. R. Ishara, Man Tera Tan Mera (1971) is a romantic drama that explores the complexities of love, class differences, and misunderstandings. Ishara was known for his unconventional and often provocative filmmaking style, and this film fits into his repertoire of socially conscious dramas.
The film is remembered for its bold (for that time) exploration of a woman’s emotional fidelity versus her marital duties. It features the standard cast for Ishara’s films: Anil Dhawan and Rehana Sultan, who were frequent collaborators and icons of the “parallel cinema” movement that bridged the gap between art-house and commercial films.

This song, “Aye Meri Jaan Main Bhi Hoon” is lip synced by someone new, possibly the new find Rashmi, singing sensuously for Shatrughna Sinha.
