“Bhootnath”(1963), a stunt movie was directed by Nanabhai Bhatt for Sevak Films, Bombay. The movie had Vijaya Chaudhary, Ranjan, Mohan Choti, Rajan Haksar, Jeeankala, Ulhas, Kundan, Prem Sagar, Dan Singh, Lal Bahadur, Dalda, Roshanlal, Kumar Sahu, Laxmi Chhaaya, Chanda, Ameer, Daood, Shaida, Sundar, Nazeer Kashmiri etc in it.
“Bhootnath”(1963) had seven songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is a duet which is sung by Usha Mangeshkar and Mahendra Kapoor. Keshav Trivedi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Vedpal Verma.
The song is picturised on Jeevankala (I guess) and Mohan Choti. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the actress.
Since the duo are not the lead pair but lesser characters so by the unstated rule of HFM, they were supposed to sing a duet song containing light hearted fun lyrics. This song is no exception.
