“Miss Coca Cola” (1955) is a movie where Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali, who later on went on to get married, were paired together. Unfortunately, no prints of this movie are apparently available, so we have little idea of how the duo fared in this movie.

“Junglee” (1961) is a movie known mainly for Shammi Kapoor. If you are like me, you will only remember Shammi Kapoor and will not have much recollection of other actors in the movie, including the heroine !

“Phir Subah Aayegi” was a different kind of movie where all the action happens in one night. And despite such a small time span, the movie manages to have time for several songs. This movie, I am told is based on the story “Crime and Punishment” by Russian Novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky.

I am sure no one recalls this 1978 movie called “Tumhaari Kasam”. In fact I do not think this movie was ever released in the parts of the country where I was growing up in 1970s. But I recall having heard this song and liking it.
Now that I have rediscoverd this song, after all of 30 years- and with the video of the song to boot, I realise that this beautiful song was picturised surprisingly well.
