A couple of songs from “Pyaar Mohabbat” (1966) are the two longest pending farmaishes for this blog. And I was unable to post these songs since I could not locate these songs all these days. Moreover, I too was curious about these songs, since these songs were “new” for me.

I was aware of a 1948 movie called “Ziddi”, which was the debut movie of Kishore Kumar as a playback singer. But there was another movie of this name in 1964. This movie “Ziddi” (1964) was a Shammi Kapoor like movie with Joy Mukherji in lead role.

In bollywood, we have “teasing” songs where hero is seen teasing the heroine rather roughly against her wishes and getting away with it. In real life India, such a conduct is considered highly objectionable and rightly so, since it is clearly sexual harassment. In fact, a uniquely Indian term called “eve teasing” has come into existence in India, much to the amusement of non Indian observers. And such “eve teasing” is punishable under Indian Penal Code, articles 298 (A) and (B).

Here is a fun song from a lesser known movie called “Akalmand”(1966). This was a movie produced by I S Johar, and as was his wont his movie used to have a light hearted look at things. So in this movie he ties up with Kishore Kumar.
