This movie called “Kaise Kahoon” (1964) is quite unknown to most people. But the music of this movie is quite remarkable . Music director of this movie was S D Burman and he teamed up with lyricist Shakeel Badayuni in this movie.

The only song from “April Fool” that I was aware of was the title song “April fool banaya to unko gussa aaya”. It was only after Raja’s farmaishes that I realised that there were other songs in this movie as well. 😉

Here is yet another Rafi-Shammi Kapoor song which is sung and picturised with the same passion which we have come to associate with such songs. Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist and Shankar Jaikishan are the music director, as was the case in majority of such songs.

Laxmikant Pyarelal used to get C grade movies viz mythological movies, stunt movies, religious movies etc, when they began their career as music directors. we have seen many music directors who remained confined to such movies throuout their careers without graduating to the mainstream movies.
