‘Monihar’ (‘Jeweled Neckless’, 1966, Bangla film) was directed by Salil Sen. The main cast included Soumitra Chatterjee, Biswajeet, Sandhya Roy, Kamal Mitra, Pahadi Sanyal, Chhaya Devi etc. The film is available on a video sharing site with English sub-titles. The film belongs to the genre of the musical family drama and is about two brothers who share a cordial relationship yet there are misunderstandings regarding the financial matters as well as their likings for the same girl. Yet there is no villainous attitude towards each other. And this is the highlight of the film.
