Today’s song is the last and final song from an exceptionally obscure, coloured Mystery film – Phanda-1975
The film was produced by T.A.Rehman and Amritlal Mehta for the banner Suraj Films, Bombay. It was directed by Somesh Joshi and V. Mhatre. They were two Cinematographers of Hindi And Gujarati films. This was their First and the last venture as a Director. The music was by a talented but fading Music Director N.Datta. The cast included Rakesh Pandey, Nazneen, Iftikhar, Raza Murad, Abhi Bhattacharya, Leela Mishra, Tun Tun and a long list of other actors including special roles by Sujit kumar, Rohit Kamal and Bindu.

The reason is that this is one of those rare films, where most of the actors, Director, music Director, all 3 lyricists, singers, producer, the banner, the screenplay writer, the dialogue writer and even the financer were all “ONE TIME” members. They had no previous experience earlier and after this film, they did not work in any other film.
