Matlab nikal gaya hai to

This is an absolutely iconic song from “Amaanat”. If I used the word iconic song, then chances were bright that Ravi must be the music ditrector, and that indeed turns out to be the case for this song. Sahir Ludhianvi had written this song, and Rafi had sung this song which is easily one
of the most memorable songs on the topic of opportunists females taking advantage of gullible suitors.
But I find that such a wonderful song has been reduced to a teasing song. Manoj Kumar is seen teasing the lady (Sadhana) rather roughly. I feel that the picturisation does not do justice to the song.
The song itself is wonderful, and out of this world. It is an iconic song, as I mentioned earlier.

Lyrics
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin
haay
yoon jaa rahe hain jaise hamen jaante nahin
yoon jaa rahe hain jaise hamen jaante nahin
apni garaj thi jab to lipatna qubool tha
apni garaj thi jab to lipatna qubool tha
baanhon ke daayre me simatna qubool tha
baanhon ke daayre me simatna qubool tha
haay
ab ham mana rahe hain haha magar maante nahin
ab ham mana rahe hain magar maante nahin
yoon jaa rahe hain jaise hamen jaante nahin
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin
hamne tumhe pasand kiya kya bura kiya
hamne tumhe pasand kiya kya bura kiya
rutba hi kuchh baland kiya kya bura kiya haay
arre rutba hi kuchh baland kiya kya bura kiya
haay
har ik gali ki khaak to ham chhaante nahin
har ik gali ki khaak to ham chhaante nahin
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin
yoon jaa rahe hain jaise hamen jaante nahin
munh pher kar na jaao hamaare kareeb se
munh pher kar na jaao hamaare kareeb se
milta hai koyi chaahne waala naseeb se
milta hai koyi chaahne waala naseeb se
haay
is tarah aashiqon pe kamaan taante nahin
is tarah aashiqon pe kamaan taante nahin
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin
yoon jaa rahe hain jaise hamen jaante nahin
Matlab nikal gaya hai to pahchaante nahin

Amanat was released much later in the 70’s. Definitely not in 1965 period.
