Very few people know that Ghulam Mohammad was the main assistant of Naushad. He was in charge of the rhythm section, an arranger and a conductor. He was also an accomplished tabla player. His music in film Shama and Pakeeza is evergreen and immortal.
Another muscian like Ghulam Mohammad was Dattaram, who was the sould and heart of Shankar-Jaikishan Duo. He too independentlycomposed music for many films such as Ab Dilli Dur Nahin etc.

atulji, how old u must be when u heard this song. it is a old time hit song and earlier rafi has sung for rajkapoor. for your notice.
