Here is another interesting song that I stumbled upon today.
This song “mera ban jaaye koyi ye meri taqdeer nahin” is from “Ek Sapera Ek Lutera” (1965). It has a very catchy tune. I tried to guess the music director, and I thought it was Laxmikant Pyarelal, or Kalyanji Anandji. I even guessed Sonik Omi, but they had yet to become independent music directors at that time.
And guess what ? The music director was none of the above, but it was Usha Khanna. So Usha Khanna has the ability to clone the music of other music directors. There was one song composed by her which was so reminiscent of O P Nayyar.
Asad Bhopali is the lyricist.
I have no idea who is the actor on which this song is picturised. The picturisation shows the actor singing this song ( and dancing too, of course) to amuse Feroz Khan and Kumkum.
As I mentioned earlier, this song is nice to the ears and even the picturisation is good.

The actor on whom song is picturised looks very much like Feroze Khan. Maybe he played a double role of a Spaera and a Lutera!! If so, that is really an excellent disguise by Bollywood standards! 🙂

I think,Feroz Khan performed double role in this song/movie…….Someone who has seen the movie has to confirm this.
