I have discussed a song from “Saawan Aaya Re”(1949) in the past. Here is another song from this movie. The song shows a lady asking the man (Kishore Sahu) to marry her whereas the man who is having a parallel affair with her sister as well, naturally tries to stall her, asking her that there is all the time in the world for all that and one should rather spend that time in activities such and singing and dancing. On his prompting, this song and dance commences.
Here is this song,delightfully sung by Amirbai Karnataki. I wonder who is the lady playing Sudha who lip syns and dances. I request my knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
