I have discussed four songs from “Devar” (1966) in the past, and all these songs are extremely well known songs.
Here is another song from this movie. I heard this song for the first time only a few hours ago, and that too only because the lyrics of this song were sent to me by Prakashchandra.
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Usha Mangeshkar. It is a dance song which is performed by two female dancers on stage. As far as I can tell, one of them (lip syncing in Asha Bhonsle’s voice) is Madhumati. I am unable to identify the other dancer. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her (and also the other dancer, in case my identification of her is wrong. 🙂
This song is written by Anand Bakshi. Music is composed by Roshan.
Though I heard (and watched) this song for the first time only recently, I liked this song a lot. As far as I am concerned, this song is a forgotten gem.

I don`t know exactly but I am simply taking the chances either she must be Sabita Chatterjee or Sheila vaz(who was there in “Leke pehla pehla pyar”song from c.i.d.
The other dancer may be some other actress,”main andhere mein teer chala raha hoon”.
