Ab kis ko sunaayen gham ke fasaane

Posted on: September 19, 2011

“Khamosh Sipaahi” (1950) is a movie which was produced by Mansarowar Pictures. Ram Kamlani was the director and this movie had David Abraham, Sohan, Nigar Sultana, Gope etc in it.

Here is a duet from this movie. This song is sung by Geeta Dutt (then Roy) and Rafi. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hansraj Bahl.

Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to speculate on the picturisation of the song. My guess is that Nigar Sultana may have lip synced in Geeta Dutt’s voice, but I am in the dark about the male actor becuase I cannot make out the hero of the movie from the list of actors.

The lyrics of this song were sent to me by nahm.

Song-Ab kis ko sunaayein gham ke fasaane(Khaamosh Sipaahi) (1950) Singers-Geeta Dutt, Rafi, Lyrics-D N Madhok, MD-Hansraj Bahl

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)

Ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane
o o o
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane
haay re zamaane
ae ae ae
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

o o o
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

aankh mein aansoo
lab par haay
ho aankh mein aansoo
lab par haay

yeh ham un se le kar aaye
dil ke yeh khazaane
he he he
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

o o o
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

ulfat mera
hadd(?) hai mushqil

ulfat mera
hadd(?) hai mushqil
baat baat par
dhoondhe hai dil

rone ke bahaane
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

o o o
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

pyaar mein bataao
to koi kisi ne kabhi sukh payaa hai
pyaar mein bataaoon
to koi kisi ne kabhi
sukh payaa hai

pyaar mein bataaoon
to koi kisi ko kabhi chain aaya hai
burey hain zamaane
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane

o o o
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane
haay re zamaane
ae ae ae
ab kis ko sunaayein
gham ke fasaane
