“Nai Roshni” (1967) is a forgotten movie despite being a “recent” movie by the standards of this blog. This movie had actors like Raaj Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Anwar Hussain, Asit Sen, Mala Sinha, Tanuja, Sulochana, Biswajeet, Pratimadevi etc in it.

Thank you nahmji for taking me to “Down Memory Lane” . Beautiful song. I had seen this movie on Bombay Doordarshan almost 30 years back.

I came across this song quite by accident while surfing channels just now..was quite surprised to see a building that looked quite familiar to me..I just hazarded a guess and the next moment I was proved right!! The song is shot around the RBI, Chennai (the wide building with the Indian flag, while the subway is just next to it)..the Madras High Court and the lighthouse are seen at a distance..was wondering as to what the Madras connect was, when I decided to look up this encyclopedia..and now I find the connect, director C.V.Sridhar.
