“Dulaari” (1949) was a Kardar Productions movie. It was produced and directed by A R Kardar. The movie had Suresh, Madhubala, Geeta Bali, Shyam Kumar, Jayant, Amar, Pratima Devi, Nawab etc in it.

While “Suhani raat dhal chuki” made me ecstasic, I can’t possibly ignore the other wonderful compositions by the maestro Naushad Ali.
“Kaun kare fariyaad” is one such superb song. The tragic helplessness has been captured so well by Lataji’s voice.
