“Shabaab” (1954) was a Sadiq productions movie. It was produced and directed by M Sadiq. The movie had Bharat Bhushan, Nutan, Shyam Asant Kumar, Wasti, Badri Prasad, Yashodra Katju etc in it.
As many as seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eight song from the movie. The initial line of this song is taken from a poetry of Zauk. In fact, K L Saigal had sung a non fimlm song which started with the same line. That song is already discussed in the blog.

Ohhh the minute I saw the title of this song I thought someone had posted Begam Akhtar’s ghazal. I had no idea this was sung by rafi as well in a movie 🙂 Lovely
