When one looks at the songs picturised on Dilip Kumar, one finds that Dilip Kumar, for much of his career had lip synced mainly in the voices of Talat Mehmood, Mukesh and Rafi. In addition, he had also sung in the voices of G M Durrani and C Ramchandra. Then he had sung for himself as well in a few songs.

The movie had Joy Mukherji, Rajshri, Motilal, Jeevan,Shyama, Nazir Hussain, Janki Dass, Rajendra Nath, Achala Sachdev, Poornima, Pratima Devi, Chaand, Lakshmi, Jeanie, Thelma, Baby Farida, Baby Yasmin, Badri Prasad, Rajender, Jagdish Kamal, Master Shahid etc in it.

“Aayi Milan Ki Bela” (1964) was a Filmyug Production movie. It was produced by J Omprakash and directed by Mohan Kumar. The movie had Rajendra Kumar, Saira Bano, Dharmendra, Shashikala, Sulochana Latkar, Sunder, Madan Puri, Nazir Hussain, Mumtaz Begum, Madhu Apte, Keshav Rana, Sarita etc in it.

This is the 10th and the last song of the series- SONGS BY NON SINGERS.
For me it has been a very hectic fortnight involving a very busy schedule. Luckily, I was able to locate all the songs’ video and Audio on You Tube but not without the customary hiccups.
Collecting authentic information about old, fogotten artists was also very challenging. To get atleast 10 songs, I dug out about 30 songs from films of 30s to 70s.

“Anarkali” (1953) was a Filmistan production movie. It was directed by Nandlal Jaswantlal. Pradeep KUmar and Bina Rai played the lead roles in this movie. Mubarak, Kuldip Kaur, Sulochana, S. L. Puri, Manmohan Krishna, Noorjahan etc were the other actors in this movie.

Just the other day I wrote in the comments,” ALL that is produced after 1970 in Hindi Films is not bad as much as ALL that is produced before 1970 is not good”. My reference was to the overall quality of films, like story, acting, comedy or music etc.

Here now is the fourth and final song from the film ‘Sannata’. Earlier this year, in June, when I had started posting the songs from this film, I did not realize it will be almost six months by the time all the songs will be posted. Just four songs. June, July, October and now today. Four simply sublime songs that have come from the pen of Gulzar and the baton of Hemant Kumar.
