“Darshan” (1941) was directed by Chimanlal Luhar. The movie had Prem Adib, Jyoti, Bhudo Advani etc in it.
Two songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the third song from this movie. This song is sung by Sheetal Ghosh. From the name of the singer, I expected to listen to a sweet female voice. But I found myself listening to a masculine voice instead. 🙂
So now I know that there was a male singer called Sheetal Ghosh in 1940s. Pt Indra is the lyricist of this nice philosophical song. Music is composed by Naushad.
Only the audio of this song is available and so I am not aware how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this matter.

Atul ji,
Sheetal Ghosh was a male singer in the early 40s.
he was used mainly by Naushad.
he has also sung in Mala and Sasural-both of 1941.
