“Chakravarti Vikramaditya” (1964) was produced by PVV Satyanarayana Murty and directed by Jampana Chandrashekhar Rao. The movie had N T RamaRao and Anjali Devi in lead roles.
The movie in fact was a remake (or was it just dubbing ?) of a Telugu original movie called “Bhatti Vikrmaarka”(1960). More or less the same team which figured in the Telugu original figures in the Hindi version as well.
It is just the lyricist who was different in the Hindi version. Saraswati Kumar Deepak (7 july 1918- 8 july 1986) was the lyricist of “Chakravarti Vikramaditya” (1964). The movie had seven songs in it and the original singers of the Telugu movie sang three songs in the Hindi movie. Remaining four songs were sung by well known playback singers of Hindi movies.
On the occasion of Saraswati Kumar Deepak’s birth anniversary as well as death anniversary (he died one day after his 68th birth anniversary), here is an obscure song from “Chakravarti Vikramaditya”(1964). It is sung by Suman Kalyanpur and Rafi. Saraswati Kumar Deepak is the lyricist. Music is composed by P Nageshwar Rao who makes his debut in the blog with this song.
Only the audio of this song is available but one can make a guess that the song is picturised on the lead pair of N T Ramarao and Anjali devi.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.

Hi , pl Google ” oo nela raja” old telugu film song for video from old telugu movie “Bhatti Vikramarka” (original of Hindi version ). My guess is the Hindi movie “chakravarti Vikramaditya” could be a dubbing of Telugu film. In that case you can watch the Telugu video of the “oo nela raja” which is still remembered and Telugu film videos are available.
