“Chaar Darvesh” (1964) was a Basant Pictures Production. It was directed by Homi Wadia. The movie had Feroz Khan, Sayeeda Khan, Naaz, Mukri, B. M. Vyas, Ratnamala, Jeevankala, Paul Sharma, Amarnath, W. M. Khan, Sundar etc in it.
This quitessentially B grade movie has an Arabian Nights kind of a tale. Here is a song from the movie. This song shows several female prisoners dancing to entertaiin the evil ruler (I am unable to identify him, as usual). Tee picturisation is interesting. The female prisoners, all well made up and dressed for the occasions come out of their cells while Naaz descends from the ceiling from a cage shaped lift. 🙂
There are two main dancers. One is Naaz who lip syncs in Asha Bhonsle’s voice and another (whom I cannot identify) lip syncs in Usha Mangeshkar’s voice. The other dancers do not get to sing in chorus though. At the end of the song, Naaz, drawing a dagger, tries to stap the ruler but is easily overpowered.
PS-The other main dancer is Jeevankala as informed by our knowledgeable readers.
Raja Mehdi Ali Khan is the lyricist. Music is composed by G S Kohli.

Among the people seated, Amarnath & heroine Sayeda Khan, can easily be recognised. I don’t know the old man. May be W.M. khan!

at 0:20 one of the male dancer(with chhaabuk/hunter in hand) is OSCAR UNGER(vetern Dance director/dancer- who recently died, Am I right ??
He became famous as dance director with the name VIJAY-OSCAR

Paul Sharma,Sardar Mansoor,
Nazir Kashmiri,Dalpat,Mustafa,Bismilla,Bawra,Ismail,
Mohammed Ali,Gani,Yadav,Korega,Julian,Geeta,Paro,Bela,
Khan Mastana,Master Nissar,Dog Romer,Miss.Dinaz Bana.
I am not very sure about the names of the male actors sitting on the throne,
They may be(this is pure guess work 🙂 W.M.Khan,Paul Sharma or Sardar Mansoor.
