Today (22 july 2014) is the 91st birth anniversary of Mukesh (22 july 1923- 27 august 1976). We have been discussing Mukesh songs not only on his anniversary but on other days as well. Less number of Mukesh songs aeing discussed these days for the simple reason that as many as 675 Mukesh songs have already been discussed and only about 200 odd Mukesh songs are left to be discussed.
On the occasion of Mukesh birth anniversary, here is a superb song from a less known movie created by less known artists. The movie is “Khoobsoorat Dhokha” (1959). Rahil Gorakhpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by S Mohinder.

Humble tributes to the legend and the man with the golden voice.
At the fag end of Sudhir ji’s program on DD, there is a slide reflecting the total songs of Mukesh as 1119, including 82 as from other languages etc.
With the gold digging exercise being done by Sudhir ji and others, I am sure we can touch at least four digit mark for Mukesh on this blog.
