“Aap To Aise Na Thhe” (1980) was an Emkay Enterprises Production. It was produced by Mohan Kumar and directed by Ambarish Sangal. The movie had Ranjeeta Kaur, Raj Babbar, Deepak Parashar, Madan Puri, Om Shiv Puri, Raj Mehra, Tamanna, Dulari, Lalita Kumari, Junior Mehmood, Arpana Choudhary, Bhagwan Dada, Chottu Dada, Manju, Chaand, Kalpana Iyer etc in it.

This movie had fantastic songs in it. I vividly recall that the radio adverstisement of this movie used be be played on Sunday in the commercial service of Vividh Bharati.

This movie had fantastic songs in it.

There was one song in it that had not one or two, but FOUR versions. This song, Tu is tarah se meri zindagi me shaamil hai has two version of Rafi and one version each sung by Manhar and Hemlata.

Six songs (counting the above mentioned song as four songs) from this movie have been discussed in the blog in the past. Only one song from this movie is left to be discussed.

Here is that seventh and final song from the movie. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. This song is picturised as a car song on Ranjeeta while a cabarat is simultaneously being performed by Kalpana Iyer and being watched by Deepak Parashar and Raj Babbar in the Sun and Sands Hotel of Bombay.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Prakashchandra.

With this song, “Aap To Aise Na Thhe” (1980) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.

Thanks Atul ji
For uploading a seperate video clip of the song. This is one of my favourite asha bhosle number composed by Usha Khanna(especially the slow sad part).

And there are 2 dancers in the song, the dancer with green outfit is CHAAND/CHAAND KAPUR(a Chetan Anand favourite starred in
Hanste Zakham(on her asha song “Gali gali mein kiyaa re badnaam, mere bairi ne” was picturised),
Dhundh(on her asha-Manna Dey`s Mujra song->Jobnaa se chunariyaa sarak gayo rey” was picturised),
Sahib Bahadur(1977)
Zameer(1975),
Hamrahi(1974)

Another dancer with red outfit is Kalpana Iyer
