Searching through the obscure and the unheard, we continue to encounter such fabulous creations that bring a gasp of pleasant surprise. Today, in the second installment of this new series of songs by Rafi Sb, I bring this exuberant song of ‘chhed chhaad’ from an unreleased film from the 1960s. The film is ‘Jaan Bachi Laakhon Paaye’. We have one song from this film already posted a little over one year ago – “Teri Zulf Mein Chun Ke Champa Ki Kaliyan”, another delightful creation, in the voice of Mahendra Kapoor and Sharda.

The movie had Prem Adeeb, Ratnamala, Jagdish Sethi, Kaushalya, Jeevan, Suraiyya, Gulab, Amirbai, Pratima devi, Shakir, Umakant Desai etc in it.
