Yes, you will recognize the song immediately. Both songs are equally fast paced. however, after the first line, the similarity ends. The other song has already been identified as a Johnny Walker song, based on information provided in comments by one of our readers. My strong hunch is that even this song should be a Johnny Walker song. His name appears in the cast of actors of this film.

With this post, I return to one of the requests of Arvinder ji that has been pending for some time now. His reminders keep coming to me, and there are more pending requests from him lined up in my inbox.

This song can well be the continuation of the ‘Memory Ticklers’ series. A lilting melody that was often heard on the radio when I used to regularly listen, and then later it seemed to have faded from the memories. Depend on Arvinder ji to recall and remind to dig up such gems to once again be played and listened.

I have neither watched this film ‘Khel Khilaadi Ka-1977’ nor was I familiar with any of the songs of this film. I remember the film’s name because I know it was from Arjun Hingorani the famous director who repeatedly cast Dharmendra in his films and the titles of his films mostly started with the letter ‘K’.
