“Naazneen” (1951) was directed by N K Ziri (?) for All India Pictures. The movie had Nasir Khan, Madhubala, Pratima Devi, Cuckoo, Jayant, Agha, Chanchal, Ram Avtaar, Om Prakash etc in it.

One song from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the second song from “Naazneen”(1951) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ghulam Mohammad.

Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

Song-Aa gaye dil mein tum (Naazneen)(1951) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Shakeel Badayuni, MD-Ghulam Mohammad

aa gaye dil mein tum
meri mahfil mein tum
bach ke nazron se meri kahaan jaaoge
bach ke nazron se meri kahaan jaaoge

hain ye milne ke din
phool khilne ke din
ham pukaarenge aur tum chale aaoge
ham pukaarenge aur tum chale aaoge

tum se milne yahaan mujh ko aana pada aa
geet gaaya hua phir se gaana pada aa
dekh lo hai mohabbat mein kitna asar
dekh lo hai mohabbat mein kitna asar
mil gayi phir hamaari tumhaari nazar
zindagi hai jawaan
abb judaayi kahaan
jis jagah jaaoge tum hamen paaoge
bach ke nazron se meri kahaan jaaoge
aa gaye dil mein tum
meri mehfil mein tum

Two songs of this film were shown in Doordarshan program “Chaya Geet” in 1980- one was “Zamane ke malik” picturised on Madhubala and the other was “Dum chiki dum” picturised on Agha. I wonder where these films disappear!
