Today’s song is from the movie ‘Nirdosh-1973’.
‘Nirdosh-1973’ was directed by S.M. Sagar for ‘Nav Sampati Productions, Bombay’. It was produced by Nariman.H.Baria and A. Khaliq
This movie has Vinod Mehra, Yogita Bali, Padma Khanna, Mehmood Junior, Iftekhar, Nazneen, Mohan Choti, Sujit Kumar, Mumtaz Begum, Lalita Kumari, Kuljeet, Yograj, Lakhanpal, Saidul Hasan, Yunus Parvez, Shivraj, Dilip Dutt, Pardesi, O.N. Mehrotra, Chanchal Kumar, Amir Ali, Mohan Shery, C.S. Dubey, Murad, Shyamu, Bramhchari and others.
Story, screenplay, and dialogues of this movie were written by Aziz Qaisi. Editing of this movie was done by P.S. Wagle.
This movie has four songs in it that were written by Asad Bhopali and they were composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
This movie made its debut on the blog on 09.06.2012 i.e. ten years back with its song ‘Koyi mantar maar de aisa koyi jantar…’. The second song from this movie was posted on the blog on 28.12.2012 and this song was ‘ho koyee pyaar se tohe dekhe sanwariyaa’.
The first song of this movie posted on the blog was an Asha Bhonsle solo song and the second song was a duet by Asha Bhonsle and Mohd Rafi.
This movie completed its ten-year run on the blog recently on 09.06.2022. However, it missed the posting of a song from it under the ‘blog ten-year challenge’. But that does not prevent us from discussing a song from this movie and listening it today.

Incidentally movies with title ‘Amar Jyoti’ were also released in ‘1936’ and ‘1984’. None of these movies with the name ‘Amar Jyoti’ have been YIPPEED so far.
Movies with the title ‘Nirdosh’ were made in ‘1941’ and ‘1950’ and ‘1973’. it is the movie of the most recent vintage viz 1973 that is being discussed today. None of these ‘Nirdosh’ have been ‘Yippeeee’ed’ on the blog 😊
That gives an opportunity to bring these titles closer to their journey of ‘Yippeeee-land’.
So, today, I am presenting herewith a song from the ‘1973’ – ‘Nirdosh’.
Lyrics of today’s song have been sent by Prakashchandra. When I received his mail and read the movie name ‘Nirdosh’, I became curious to know about the songs of this movie since I had no recollection about the title and its songs.
After listening to the songs of this movie, I realised that the song ‘ho koyee pyaar se tohe dekhe sanwariyaa’ has a familiar ring to it. I might have listened to this song on radio or elsewhere earlier.
Sujit Kumar and others can also be seen in the picturisation.
As mentioned above lyrics of the today’s song is written by Asad Bhopali and music is composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
