Today 12th January’2023 is the one hundred and fifth birth anniversary of one of the greatest music directors of Hindi Cinema C. Ramchandra.
He was born on 12th January’1918 and passed away on 5th Janunary’1982.
On this occasion as a tribute to him I am presenting a song from the ‘1955’ movie ‘Luteraa’.
This movie had made its debut on the blog on 23.10.2013 with one of its songs posted on the blog then. However that remains the only song from this movie to be covered on the blog so far.
Today’s song is the second song from this movie to be posted on the blog.
“Luteraa-1955” was directed by Ravindra Dave for ‘Pancholi Productions’.
It was produced by Dalsukh M. Pancholi.
This movie had Naseer Khan, Zabeen, Beghampara, Nazeer Hussain, David, Om Prakash, Noor, Shyam Lal, Ramesh Thakur, Prakash, Ramlal, Master Ashok, Bhalla and others.
Kamal and Mridula make a guest appearance in this movie.
This movie was passed by Censor Board on 13.10.1955.
