Today’s song is the second from this movie to be posted on the blog. This song is sung by Sharda. Sonia Sahani performing on this song on screen. In the movie this song is shown as a ‘haunting song’ and I.S. Johar is also visible in the picturisation of this song.

I have not watched this movie and so I cannot say in what context this song takes place in the movie. The movie is available on internet and it seems that it is available since last five years now. (This version is revised version wherein the movie certificate mentions the date of passing of this movie by Censor Board on 03.01.1978. So this seems to be a ‘renewed certification’ of the movie in 1978. The video of the songs of this movie also seems to be available for all which has come up in recent years. The video of the movie is uploaded five years back).

Sharda is the singer of the song. Lyrics are by Asad Bhopali and music is composed by Usha Khanna.

Let us now listen to the song …

Song-Ae meri zindagi koi manzil talaash kar (Mera Naam Johar)(1967) Singer-Sharda, Lyrics-Asad Bhopali, MD-Usha Khanna

bhatakti hain
jawaan nazren
fizaa mein …
muhabbat ko o
taras khaana hi hoga
dil e betaab ki
aawaaz sun kar
wo aayega
usey aana hi hoga
aana hi hoga
aana hi hoga

ae meri zindagi
koi manzil talaash kar
jo dil ka dard jaan le
wo dil talaash kar r r r
wo dil talaash kar
ae meri zindagi
koi manzil talaash kar
jo dil ka dard jaan le
wo dil talaash kar r r r
wo dil talaash kar

(sobbing sound)

maathe pe shaam e gham ke
kohraa sa jam rahaa hai
maujen thahar rahi hai
toofaan thham rahaa hai
jo mil ke kho gaya hai
wo saahil talaash kar
jo dil ka dard jaan le
wo dil talaash kar r r r
wo dil talaash kar

kuchh dil bhi hai pareshaan
kuchh rooh bhi hai pyaasi
kab tak rahegi aakhir
ye maut ki udaasi
jo maar ke jilaaye
wo qaatil talaash kar
jo dil ka dard jaan le
wo dil talaash kar r r r
wo dil talaash kar
