On this date ten years back viz on 22 February 2013, six songs from six different movies were covered in the blog. Here are their details:-

We can observe that four movies (out of six) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with two movies that are unYIPPEED and therefore eligible for blog Ten Year Challenge today (22 february 2023).
“Sangeet Samrat Tansen”(1962) is one eligible movie. this movie was produced by S G Laad and directed by S N Tripathi for Sursagar Chitra, Bombay. The movie had Bharat Bhushan, Anita Guha,Sabita Chatterjee,Kumar,David,Mukri,Sapru,Preeti Bala, Prem Sagar and S.N.Tripathi,Kamla Laxman had in it. Other artistes were Prashuram,Dulari,Altaf,Suryakant Shukal/Shukla,Baagla,Yusuf, Radhey Shyam, Mishrilal, Nazir Kashmiri,Anand/Aanan Joshi,Master Anwar,Baby Kamal,Haroon, Baby Jaishree, Sarita Devi etc.
“Sangeet Samrat Tansen”(1962) had 14 songs in it. 11 songs have been covered so far.
Here is the 12th song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is chronologically the second song of the movie. It is lip synced by Master Anwar (playing child Tansen) and Baby Kamal (playing child Hansa) in child voices whose identity is not known. This is followed by a chorus song sung by devotees of Swami Haridas who are passing by. Swami Haridas sings a few words in the voice of Manna Dey.
This song, like other songs of the movie is penned by Shailendra. Music is composed by S N Tripathi.
