“Teerandaaz”(1955) was directed by H S Rawail. The movie had Ajit, Madhubala, Jairaj, Kuldip Kaur, Yashodhara Katju, Chanchal, Chandrashekhar, Helen, Gope etc in it.

The movie had six songs in it. All songs were female solo sungs sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Five songs have been covered in the past. Here are the details:-

From the songs, it would appear that the movie was about a lady whose main purpose in life was to fall in love and sing songs dealing with various moods associated with love. 🙂 But no, that was not the case, the lady also played a masked teerandaaz and she championed the cause of suffering masses against a tyrast zameendaar. In order words, she played a female zorro !

Here is the sixth and final song from “Teerandaaz”(1955). This song, like all other songs of the movie, is sung by Lata Mangeshkar, penned by Rajinder Krishan and composed by C Ramchandra. My guess is that these songs are best enjoyed asstand alone offerings. The fact that only audio of these songs are available helps in that.

This song, the final song from the movie, is quite a nice song to listen to. And that was the reason why I had saved this song for the last !
