We observe that two movies (out of nine) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (on 11 March 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. So, there are seven movies that are still unYIPPEED and therefore eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (11 March 2023).
“Shiva Bhakta”(1955) is one of the BTYC eligible movies today.
“Shiva Bhakta”(1955) was produced by A.V.Meyiyappan and directed by H L N Simha for AVM Productions, Bombay. The movie had Shahoo Modak, Padmini,Pandhari Bai,
Anant Kumar, Mishra, Kumari Devi, Rushyendramani, Raagini, H.Ramachandra Shashtri, Deshraj, Rajoo, K.N.Dandayudhapani, Jayashankar etc in it.
The movie had 14 songs in it. 6 songs have been covered so far.
Here is the seventh song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar. It is penned by Gopal Singh Nepali. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
The song is picturised as a dance song on Padmini who dances for the benefit of a gentleman. Knowledgeable readers are requested to help identify him.

The gentleman for whom Padmini dances is Mishra…the hero ‘s father.
The movie is a remake of BEDARA KANNAPPA, Kannada, 1954,with which the most celebrated actor of Kannada industry Raj Kumar debuted as a hero.
The producer, director and heroine were the same as in Kannada.
