On this date ten years ago (24 April 2013), seven songs from seven different movies were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We observe that one movie (out of seven movies) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (viz on 24 April 2013) has since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with six unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (24 April 2023).
Five unYIPPEED movies have already been taken up under Blog Ten Year Challenge earlier today. Only one movie now remains to be taken up under BTYC.
This movie is “Jeewan Nauka”(1952).
“Jeewan Nauka”(1952) was directed by K Vembu for K & K Productions, Bombay. The movie had B.S.Saroja, Indira Acharya, Baby Girija, Thikkurisi,Sukumaran Nair,
Sebestian Kunju Bhagathar, Mutthukulam Raghavan Pillai, S.P.Pillai, Maathappan,Pankajavalli, Janamma jagathamma etc in it. This movie was dubbed from Malayalam movie “Jeevitha Nauka”(1951). Songs were recorded afresh. The Malayalam version of the song under discussion was a direct lift of Hindi movie song “Hawa mein udta jaaye mera laal dupatta malmal ka” from “Barsaat”(1949). When Hindi version of the song was planned, a new tune is created for the Hindi song that is being covered in this post. It must be said that this tune is quite catchy.
Only audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturiastion of the song.
