We observe that three movies (out of five), whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (on 3 May 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with two unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (3 May 2023).
“Ratnavali”(1945) is one of the two unYIPPEED movies.
“Ratnavali”(1945) was directed by Surendra Desai for Amar Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Surendra, Ratnamala, Usha Mantri, Maya Bannerjee, K.N.Singh, Nand Kishore, Leela Mishra, Ansari, Jaani Babu, S.Nazir etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. Five songs have been covered in the blog so far.
Here is the sixth song from “Ratnavali”(1945) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rajkumari. Rammurty Chaturvedi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Pt Govindram.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
