We observe that two movies (out of six)) whose songs were covered in the blog on this date ten years ago (on 6 May 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. Both these movies in fact got YIPPEED on this very day ten years ago. That leaves us with four unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge.
“Isi Ka Naam Duniya Hai”(1962) is one of the BYTC eligible movies today.
“Isi Ka Naam Duniya Hai”(1962) was produced byS H Bihari and directed by Shakti Samanta for J B Productions, Bombay. This movie had Ashok Kumar, Shyama, Mehmood, Sahira, K.N.Singh, Nazir Hussain, Lalita Kumari, Susheel Kumar, Farida, Helen, Amar, Kundan, Ramlal, Rajen Kapoor, Khatana, Anwari, Ramesh Chohan, Masood, R.L.Ranjan, Om Prakash, Meena Parel aka Meena Fernandez , Lata Sinha etc in it.
“Isi Ka Naam Duniya Hai”(1962) had eight songs in it according to HFGK. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafi. S H Bihari is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ravi.
The song is lip synced by Mehmood. The song is picturised as a drunkard song. Others seen in the picturisation are Kundan, and Meena Fernandez aka Meena Parel.
