#the Decade of Sixties – 1961 – 1970 #
————————————————————————
For some obvious reasons, nowadays I am looking for the songs sung by Bhupinder Singh in his early career. There are many unforgettable songs sung by him in the later period which I hope would be bringing on the blog in the near future. In addition there are some lesser known songs sung by him in the early days of his career which are yet to be represented on the blog.
I am trying to bring these missing songs here.
Today I am presenting a song sung by him from the movie “Khoon Ka Khoon-1966”.
This song is sung by three singers’ viz. Usha Khanna (the composer of this song), Kamal Barot and Bhupinder Singh.
I guess that this movie might be an obscure movie of its time and hence forgotten easily.
“Khoon Ka Khoon-1966” was directed by Kamran for ‘K.F. Films, Bombay’. It had Dara Singh, Nishi, Kamran, Tiwari, Shyam Kumar, Sunder, Kamal Mehra and others.
As per HFGK Vol-IV (1961-1970) this movie has five songs – all written by S.H. Bihari. Music for this movie was composed by Usha Khanna.
Here is the list of songs in this movie (with their respective singer/s).
SNo | Song Title | Singer/s | Posted On |
---|---|---|---|
01 | Shamaa haseen mehfil bhi jawaan | Usha Khanna | |
02 | Ishaaron hi ishaaron mein samjho to jaanoon | Lata Mangeshkar | 13.01.2020 |
03 | Abhi ban jaayegi baat ban jaayegi | Lata Mangeshkar | |
04 | Adaa ke teer laakhon hain jeegarwaale nahin miltey | Usha Khanna, Kamal Barot, Bhupinder Singh | |
05 | Le ke dil mein pyaar aaye, ho ke beqaraar aaye | Asha Bhonsle, chorus |
It can be seen from the above table that only one song from this movie has been posted on the blog.
Today we present the second song – a qawwali song – from this movie on the blog. As mentioned the song is sung by Usha Khanna, Kamal Barot and Bhupinder Singh.
Lyrics are b S.H. Bihari and music is composed by Usha Khanna.
Only audio of this song is available.
Let us now enjoy this song…
Editor note:-With this song, S H Bihari now has 200 songs in the blog as a lyricist.

Lyrics
adaa ke teer laakhon hain
jigarwaale nahin miltey
adaa ke teer laakhon hain
jigarwaale nahin miltey
nazaarein to hazaaron hain
nazaarwaale nahin miltey
nahin miltey ae
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
adaa ke teer laakhon hain
jeegarwaale nahin miltey
ye maanaa hamne
is duniyaa mein
dilwaalon ke mele hain
ye maanaa hamne
is duniyaa mein
dilwaalon ke mele hain
koi to baat hai aisi
ke ham ab tak
akele hain ae
ke ham ab tak
akele hain
bahot milte to hain lekin
asarwaale nahin miltey
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
adaa ke teer laakhon hain
jigarwaale nahin miltey
zamaanaa apne matlab se
hameshaa dil lagaataa hai
zamaanaa apne matlab se
hameshaa dil lagaataa hai
wafaa ke naam ko badnaam
karnaa
sab ko aataa hai
aji haan
sab ko aataa hai
wafaa par jaan den aise
hunarwaale nahin miltey
nahin miltey ae
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
nahin miltey
adaa ke teer laakhon hain
jigarwaale nahin miltey
adaa ke teer laakhon hain
jigarwaale nahin miltey
